According to a promotional Boeing production, the QF-16 Drones will be given a more appropriate role of enabling pilots to practice extreme high-G dog fighting tactics.

Boeing's QF-16 Chief Engineer, Paul Cejas, is furthering the aircraft's capabilities in order to study the physical and mental effects as well as train a pilots while in an extreme high-G environment. These exercises and training programs hope to enhance the fighter pilot's accumulated dog fighting and multi-tasking experiences before entering the battlefield. No doubt a potential addition to the Red Flag exercises.
