Peter Weber Jr. flew a plane around a California airport for about 20 minutes in a Guiness World Record attempt as the oldest active pilot in the world. Peter, 95 years, 4 months and 23 days old at the time of the flight told reporters after the landing, “I feel great.” He is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran of both WWII and Vietnam and while turning in the keys of the rental plane he added, “It was a short flight, but it was all the (Guinness) requirements.” Guinness currently lists Cole Kugel of Longmont Colorado as the oldest pilot ever at age 105. He died in 2007. Given his great shape and health I'm guessing Peter may well live to hold another record.
