Landing before civil twilight February 17, Gordon Boettger and Hugh Bennett landed in Casper, WY, after taking off from Minden, NV, setting a new Two Place National record of 741 miles. They had climbs to FL280 and ground speeds of 235mph. Walt Rogers has an updated blog that ran throughout the day with updates and weather.

The HRRR models show the air movement where you can see the ripples from the wave. Walt was able to pass this valuable information to Gordon which helped when the next climb seemed over the horizon and they couldn't see it.
