Solar Impulse 2 Starts Transatlantic Crossing From New York

In the early morning hours, 2 a.m. to be exact, pilot Bertrand Piccard began a three day journey in the solar powered Solar Impulse 2 launching from New York to Spain.

The flight will last between approximately 90 hours and 110 hours, representing the longest distance the zero fuel, zero emissions has attempted.
