After a South Carolina family reported their son missing at sea more than two months ago, a massive container ship spotted 37-year old Louis Jordan sitting on the overturned hull of his sailboat more than 200 miles off the Carolina coast Thursday afternoon.

A U.S. Coast Guard MH-60 airlifted the grateful Jordan to a hospital in Norfolk Virgina where he shockingly managed to walk from the helicopter with assistance.

According to the Virginian Pilot, he reportedly suffers from dehydration and a shoulder injury. Jordan says he survived by catching fish but the Coast Guard hasn't interviewed him yet to learn exactly what happened.

The Virginian Pilot has more on this incredible saga, as well as the moment when Frank Jordan finally talked to his son by phone after being rescued.

And his sailboat's name? Angel.
