NBAA Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference

  • Oct 7, 2013 5:41pm GMT

I will be one of the featured speakers at this year's National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Tax, Regulatory and Risk Management Conference October 20-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. My presentation, entitled "State Taxes: Minimizing Liabilities in Multiple States," will take place on day 2 of the conference.

The NBAA Tax Conference is an important annual gathering for business aviation professionals and provides attendees with the practical knowledge to help ensure their compliance with the complex web of federal, state and local government taxes and regulations that impact aircraft ownership. Attendees will also learn about opportunities for structuring ownership and operation of business aircraft in order to maximize deductions. The conference always includes updates regarding changes in federal and state tax laws and policies and federal aviation regulations. The Tax Conference precedes NBAA’s Annual Meeting and Convention which also takes place in Las Vegas this year, October 22nd through October 24th.

My law firm, Aerlex Law Group, will be well represented at the 2013 convention. Other Aerlex personnel who will be attending the event include firm President Stephen Hofer, Senior Transactional Counsel Amanda Applegate, International Counsel Richard Pearson, Aircraft Transaction Specialist Kathy Boland, Certification and Compliance Consultant Bob Frost, Director of Marketing Cinda Rosenberg, and Director of Operations and Technology John Youngman. Clients interested in meeting with any of the Aerlex attorneys or specialists in Las Vegas should contact the firm to make an appointment.
