Bombardier has announced that their first CS300 aircraft will make its inaugural flight in early 2015 following the completion of functional test procedures as well as required engine and taxi runs at their facilities in Mirabel, Québec.

Rob Dewar, Vice President of the CSeries Program said, “Over the next few weeks, the CS300 aircraft will be outfitted with the latest software rolls, taking it to the most current production standards – therefore making it the most optimized and productive first flight of any test vehicle seen to date.”

Watch Nicolas Tamestit, Flight Test Engineer for the CSeries, demonstrate what he does and how the data is collected in the Bombardier video below.
