Business aircraft owners and operators face tax planning challenges on a daily basis, and the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) Business Aviation Taxes Seminar is a great place to learn about these issues. This is the heart of my business, and I attend this seminar every year for the in-depth presentations. I’ll be in Dallas, Texas this Friday, May 8th for the 2015 event.

The Taxes Seminar is an annual program for attorneys, accountants, tax advisors, aviation professionals, flight department personnel, aircraft owners and operators, and others concerned with business aircraft.

The goal of the daylong program is to provide a comprehensive overview of the various federal and state tax laws, regulations and cases that affect aircraft ownership, recent developments in the field, and strategies for managing complex federal and state tax challenges. Experts in the field will speak at the seminar, and they will provide guidance on aircraft tax issues at a very sophisticated level. This year’s program will include emerging issues such as state and federal tax challenges to aircraft leasing structures and strategies for sharing a business aircraft.
