Cameras set on the drones show what?s in front of the aircraft and you can see it LIVE on the racers? smart goggles. It's a rush to fly and watch. Flying a drone from a first person perspective is the newest trend in Korea and continues to draw attention around the world.

KT, a telecom company in South Korea organized a drone competition a few days ago. According to the Korea Times,"The company has identified drones as one of its next revenue sources. The company previously demonstrated how drones can be used in building a long-term evolution (LTE) network system across the nation."

The competition had more than 20 participants at home and abroad in the race, which offered close to $17,000 in prize money. Shin Hoon-Ju, vice president of KT's marketing division claims."We held the event to promote the awareness of drones, which are gaining popularity especially among people in their 20s and 30s."
