Watch F-15 and AH-64 Apache PERFORM TOGETHER!!
It's the debut of the first integrated display with a F-15SG fighter jet and AH-64 Apache helicopter by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). Earlier ATA member Ric Peterson posted a story on the Singapore Airshow 2016.
During a media preview at the Changi Exhibition Centre, the RSAF showcased its aerial display, which will feature an F-15SG fighter aircraft and an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter pulling off 11 maneuvers over 12 minutes. The Bow and Zoom is one of the most difficult maneuvers where the Apache takes a bow and the F-15 climbs vertically popping flares from behind. Lining up the two aircraft and as they perform is critical with the timing.
According ot Colonel Linus Tan, chairman of the RSAF Flying Display Committee, “The two platforms (F-15SG and AH-64D) are very different in terms of speed, maneuvrability and capability. We need to integrate well to showcase to the audience the grace and power of both platforms.”
