Singapore Airshow 2016

The 2016 Singapore Airshow, Asia's biggest, features flights of the C-17 Globemaster, Sukhoi’s Su-30MKM fighter, and the Korean Black Eagles display team are a few of the acts that make up the show's daily hour of flying. The world's aviation industry turns out to this purpose built site to sell and display their aircraft both on the ground and in the air. SAAB are there Global Eye & Swordfish aircraft are being displayed while Bombardier are focusing on their new C Series airliner as you can see in the videos below.

Every two years, high-level government and military delegations, as well as senior corporate executives around the world attend the Singapore Airshow. The event features the Singapore Airshow Aviation Leadership Summit, which attracts an unprecedented network of international senior commercial & government delegations. The other two strategic conferences that will be held during the week of the show are the A*STAR Aerospace Technology Leadership Forum and the Singapore Aerospace Technology and Engineering Conference.

Video 1: Bombardier Update Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced today that the C Series aircraft program is making excellent progress as the CS100 aircraft readies for delivery and entry-into-service (EIS) with launch operator Swiss International Air Lines (“SWISS”) in Q2 2016. Additionally, the CS300 aircraft has completed over 70 per cent of its certification activities to date and is on target for full certification approximately in mid-year 2016, followed by its planned EIS in the second half of 2016 with airBaltic of Latvia.
