At a special 15th anniversary event at LAX today, Air Tahiti Nui hosted guests at the Flight Path Learning Center Museum. This year, the airline launched a $17 million cabin reconfiguration and entertainment system installation on its fleet of five Airbus A340-300 aircraft. The Poerava business class features 32 Sogerma angled "lie-flat cocoon" seats. Seats in economy class Moana are 18-inches wide with an average 32-inch pitch. All seats have touchscreen displays with on-demand access to 50 movies and television shows. The updated "boutique" cabins are a beautiful way to travel to Polynesian paradise!

Nick Panza, VP of North America for Air Tahiti Nui, spoke to a crowded room about the airline's accomplishments over the past 15 years. "The little airline that can" brought 4.2 million passengers to the United States, of which 700,000 were tourists, accounting for $2.8 billion of tourist expenditures in 15 years.
