It is estimated that each MINUTE an airline uses to unload passengers costs them $30. Alaska airlines has started loading and unloading utilizing the rear airstairs at airports other than the austere environment pictured above. The plane is equipped for it, so why not? If the APU is running, I'd have some earplugs handy.

Thoughts? Good idea or not?
