Loading an MD-11 can be tricky...

I know, the first question is "Ethiopia has a cargo airline?" Indeed they do, and it seems they have fallen prey to a known issue with the MD-11 and sequential loading. At FedEx, the nose is tethered to the ramp if loading is underway. Looks like Ethiopia should adopt the same procedure. Scary thing is, damage to the aft pressure bulkhead can strike the airframe. More pictures of MD-11's in this unique loading configuration attached, as Ethiopia isn't the first!

Also, this can be caused if the Captain throws his wallet out the window before walking off the jet.
