Airline Crews Need a Rest Area Too!

It might be easy to forget that the pilots and flight attendants on your airliner are not commuting or traveling for pleasure but are actually at work. And just like all jobs everyone is due for break every once in a while. But where does an airline crew member go when they need to get away?

Many large airliners flying long-haul trips have a seperate rest area for the flight crews to get away from the customers. The location varies between aircraft, but usually a hidden door and a narrow staircase will lead to a private bed, chair, and a little bit of peace and quiet.

Check out the photos and videos below for some examples of crew rest areas on some of the heavy aircraft. Not gonna lie, if they sold tickets for those beds I'd get one in a heartbeat.
