Due to the FAA's recent decision to lessen restrictions on electronic devices in the cabin, Amazon is giving a 15% discount on many of their kindle e-readers. The sale is only today and you can get savings by using the code "ThnksFAA" while checking out. The promotion brings the price of the basic Kindle down to $59, the Kindle Fire HD to $118 and the Kindle Fire HDX to $195. Get a head start on your holiday shopping if you are in the market for one of these because today is the only day that these prices are in effect.

Airlines are still in the process of making changes to their electronic device policy, so make sure you research if your flight allows them to be powered on before you get into an argument with your flight attendant over your Angry Birds game.
