UPDATED: AirAsia Flight 8501 Wreckage Found
A waiting area, and all necessary facilities and support have been set up for relatives and friends of the affected passengers at Changi Airport Terminal 2 (Level 3).

ORIGINAL STORY: AirAsia has confirmed that air traffic control in Jakarta, Indonesia, has lost contact with flight 8501, an Airbus A320.
The flight was en route from Surabaya, Indonesia, to Changi International Airport in Singapore.
Contact with the flight was lost just after 7:00 AM local time on Sunday, December 28, 2014.
The last radar ping from the aircraft came from 32,000 feet over the Java Sea.
"We have no further information. A crisis center has been set up. We are seeking more information to provide," a representative said.
The New York Times has reported that 162 people were on board.
